Digital securities, also known as security tokens, refer to shares, bonds, fund units, and other capital markets products that are digitally represented on a blockchain. In Singapore, they are regulated under the Securities and Futures Act in the same manner that traditional capital markets products are regulated.

No, you do not have to be based in Singapore. As a fully digitalised platform, institutional partnerships can be remote. We’re open to all non-US accredited investors, corporate accredited, and institutional investors.

Access to clients’ digital assets is secured with MPC (Multi-party computation) cryptography technology for stronger and more robust protection of digital assets.

Securing digital assets boils down to preventing attackers of gaining access to the private key. Traditional cryptocurrency exchanges utilise multi-signature wallets, in which corporate officers are responsible to protect their private keys and sign off on transactions. Multi-signature wallets have shown to be vulnerable and led to many instances of hacks.

With MPC, no single private key exists at any point in time. Instead, the private key is broken up into separate key shares that are encrypted and divided among multiple parties. These parties will independently compute their parts using the private key share they hold to produce a signature without revealing the encryption to the other parties. This means there is never a time when the private key is formed in one place.


Digital assets are assets that are stored digitally, uniquely identifiable, and provide value. These include security tokens, stablecoins, NFTs and other digital currencies. 

Digital assets are created and stored electronically in the blockchain, secured with cryptography to control all transactions including the creation and verification of transfers.

There are a growing number of digital assets currently in circulation, but the most popular to date are Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH) and USD Coin (USDC).

Stablecoins are a type of cryptocurrency that are tied to a reserve asset such as a currency (like the dollar or euro) or a commodity (like gold, oil or real estate). We only support stablecoins that are pegged to traditional currencies.

You will qualify as a **corporate accredited investor** if your company’s net assets is as follows: Net assets exceeding SGD 10 million in value (or its equivalent in a foreign currency), as determined by:

•  the most recent audited balance-sheet of the corporation; or

•  where the corporation is not required to prepare audited accounts regularly, a balance-sheet of the corporation certified by the corporation as giving a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the corporation as of the date of the balance sheet, which date shall be within the preceding 12 months; or

•  Company’s entire share capital is owned by one or more persons, all of whom are accredited investors.

No, you can open an account with ADDX as an investor from any country, except if you are a current U.S citizen or U.S taxpayer. All applications will be subjected to our Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes, and any local regulatory requirements.

There are no fees associated with signing up as an investor with us. The only fees we charge are associated with your investments.

Kim Leng stepped down as Special Advisor (Financial Supervision) of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2018 after 25 years of distinguished service in the Authority.

Prior to that, Kim Leng was the Assistant Managing Director in charge of the Banking & Insurance Group and a member of the MAS Executive Committee. In that role, he was responsible for the licensing and supervision of banks, insurance companies, finance companies and money changing & remittance companies, as well as for the anti-money laundering supervision of the financial sector.

He was awarded the Public Administration Medal by the President of Singapore in 2014 for his contributions to the public service. He currently sits on the board of the Casino Regulatory Authority, United Overseas Insurance Ltd, Sygnum Bank AG and Ternary Fund Management Pte Ltd.
