Eddie Ong
Deputy CIO and Managing Director, Private Investments
Eddie is the Deputy CIO and Head of Private Investments at SeaTown. He is responsible for both private credit and private equity investments.
Prior to joining SeaTown, Eddie was a Senior Vice President (Head of Private Equity Investments) at Wah Hin & Co. He was also previously a Director (Investments) at DKR Oasis, a multi-strategy hedge fund.
Before joining DKR Oasis, Eddie was a Director at Temasek Holdingâs direct investment division. Before moving to the buy-side, Eddie was a corporate banker with DBS Bank. He has more than 20 years of experience in Asian financial industry.
Eddie, a CFA charterholder, graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a degree in Business (Upper Class Honours). He also holds a Masters of Science (Applied Finance) from National University of Singapore.
Chan Wei Hsien
Managing Director, SeaTown
Wei Hsien is a Managing Director, Private Investments of the Firm. He is responsible for investments in private credit.
Prior to joining the Firm, Wei Hsien spent 6 years at UBS and Merrill Lynch investing in public equities.
Before that, Wei Hsien worked as a private equity investor at IFC, Morgan Stanley and Henderson Global Investors.
Wei Hsien, a CFA charterholder, holds a Bachelorâs Degree from the Wharton School and an MBA from INSEAD.
Yeo Wee Yap
Managing Director, SeaTown
Wee Yap is a Managing Director, Private Investments of the Firm. He is responsible for investments in private credit.
Prior to joining the Firm, Wee Yap was Chief Executive Officer of Fullerton Investment Management Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fullerton Financial Holdings. He was previously the Head of Mezzanine Capital, UOB Bank, focusing on Asia Pacific private debt opportunities, as well as the Chairman of Investment Committee.
Prior to that, Wee Yap was with JP Morgan covering pre-IPO financing and other forms of private financing. Wee Yap was leading DBS Private Equity unit covering Greater China and South-East Asia, managing both private equity and private debt strategies, before joining JP Morgan.
From 1994-2003, Wee Yap worked in the corporate lending team at DBS Bank. His experience in DBS includes NPL restructuring and was instrumental in creating new credit risk rating and credit risk pricing models. Wee Yap, a CFA charterholder, holds a Bachelor of Business from Nanyang Technological University (Second Upper).

Oi-Yee Choo
Chief Executive Officer at ADDX, Moderator
Oi Yee has more than 20 years of experience in the investment and banking industry, and is the Chief Executive Officer of ADDX. Formerly Chief Commercial Officer, she was responsible for driving business growth through fostering an extensive network of investors and corporate partners. Prior to ADDX, Oi Yee held leadership roles in investment banking as the Head of Investment Banking (Singapore) at UBS and prior to that, Morgan Stanley.
A Singapore-based investment manager focused on alternative, absolute return strategies. SeaTown manages multi-asset and public credit strategies through open-end funds as well as private investments strategies in closed-end funds.
